Nishamalaki Tablets by Shree Dhootapapeshwar Limited are Ayurvedic tablets made from two classical herbs, Haridra (turmeric) and Amalaki (Amla, Indian gooseberry). The name combines Nisha, an old word for turmeric, with Amalaki. They are a Consumer Ayurved product from SDL India. Please consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before using them.
Each Nishamalaki Tablet contains Haridra (Curcuma longa) rhizome choorna (powder of turmeric root) 250 mg and Amalaki (Emblica officinalis) fruit pericarp choorna (powder of Amla fruit) 250 mg. Potassium sorbate is used as a preservative. Shree Dhootapapeshwar Limited makes these Ayurvedic tablets, so please read the label on your pack for the full details.
As per classical Ayurvedic tradition, Amalaki is valued as a Rasayan (rejuvenating herb) and Haridra is widely used in Ayurved. Together, Nishamalaki Tablets are traditionally used to support skin health, energy and healthy digestion. Individual results may vary, and they are not a replacement for medical care, so please consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner or doctor first.
Take 1 to 2 Nishamalaki Tablets, 2 to 3 times a day, with lukewarm water, or as directed by your physician. The right number of tablets can differ from person to person. Please follow the label on your pack and your Ayurvedic practitioner's advice, and do not exceed the recommended dose.
Nishamalaki Tablets are traditionally taken as per the dose on the label or as advised by a physician, and the dose should not be exceeded. How long to use them depends on the person, so there is no one fixed period for everyone. Please check with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before taking them every day.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women, children, people with existing health conditions and anyone on ongoing medication should take Nishamalaki Tablets only after consulting a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner or doctor. Anyone allergic to turmeric or Amla (Indian gooseberry) should avoid them, and the label should be read carefully. Never stop or change prescribed medicines because of this product.
Nishamalaki Tablets are meant to be used at the recommended dose, and how the body responds can vary from person to person. If you notice any discomfort or allergic reaction, stop using them and speak to your doctor or Ayurvedic practitioner. Keep the tablets out of reach of children and do not exceed the dose.
Nishamalaki Tablets cannot be claimed to treat, manage or control diabetes or any blood sugar condition. They are a combination of Haridra and Amalaki, traditionally used as Rasayans (rejuvenating herbs). If you have diabetes, please talk to your doctor or Ayurvedic practitioner, and never stop or change prescribed medicines on your own.
Nishamalaki is a classical Ayurvedic name made from two herbs: Nisha, which means Haridra (turmeric), and Amalaki, which is Amla (Indian gooseberry).
